House front-view
The house is located between the town of Lamu and the village of Shela, just after the hospital.

The house was entirely built with local materials (coral stones, mangrove poles), in Swahili style. Furnitures were the product of local craftmen.

Many trees offer shade during the hot hours of the day. The covered gallery is also a cool place to laze about

The servant's quarter
At the far end of the compound is set Ben's house, the manager / care taker, discreet but always available.
